What took place?

  •  A significant injury to Neymar occurred roughly ten minutes before the game's conclusion.

 • The Paris Saint-Germain player from France removed his right foot's shoe while seated on the bench. He also took off his socks and shin guard.

 • On the bottom of his foot, there was an egg-sized bulge seen in the photographs taken by the "France Presse" photographers.

  •  When he entered the changing room after leaving it, Neymar had a limp.

Neymar has a long history with injuries, specifically in his right ankle in 2019, which at that time prevented him from participating in the Copa America, and he also suffered a broken back in the 2014 World Cup quarter-final against Colombia, which prevented him from completing the journey in the version hosted by Brazil.

Neymar appeared very active in the match that was held at the “Lucile” stadium, and he was one of the Brazilian players who touched the ball the most until his exit in the 80th minute.

The Brazilian national team, aspiring to win the World Cup title for the sixth time, will face its Swiss counterpart, on Monday.
