Ziyech, the true Hazard, according to Belgium-Morocco

Find the players who stood out during the wild match between Belgium and Morocco, which ended with a decisive Atlas Lions win over the Red Devils (0-2) on Sunday afternoon in support of the second day of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

1/10

 Hakim Ziyesh (7)

The crack of the meeting.  Before finishing with an assist for Aboukhlal (92nd), the left-handed wisp showed quite incredible technical quality, leading his team's attacks from his right side.  He tries his luck from a distance (29th), he scores an offside free kick (45th + 2).

2/10

Romain Saïss (7)

In battles, it creates an imperial central hinge. The Lions' captain increased clearances to release his team.

3/10

Hakimi Ashraf (6)

Even if he was given the opportunity initially, he was unstoppable defensively because he failed to contribute offensively.

4/10

 Thorgan Hazard (5.5)

Established on the left wing, Thorgan was the only one to create danger, especially in the first period.

5/10

De Bruyne, Kevin (4.5)

"KDB" put his teammates in a position to make the difference—certainly much better than against Canada—but he was incredibly isolated in this middle of the field (Hazard and Batshuayi being out of the game).

6/10

 Amadou Onana (4.5)

Author of a sensational entry against Canada, the midfielder who passed through Losc was much less enterprising with the ball at his feet.  Imprecise in his openings, he then hesitated to lengthen.  Rather strong in recovery.

7/10

Sofiane Boufal (4)

With Ziyech, the game leaned way too far to the right. If he has used a few technical moves, the Angevin dribbler is capable of posing a far greater threat.

8/10

Thibaut Courtois (4)

The world's top goalkeeper could not save his side. Even worse, he is largely guilty of being passive during the Moroccan opener.

9/10

 Eden Hazard (4)

In the middle of the Moroccan block, he was voluntary, with good ball grips, but never weighed on the meeting. Is it at the level of a World Cup?

10/10

Thomas Meunier  (3.5)

He brought nothing and had no luck with his overflowing when on the right side and in charge of taking the passage during the offensive phase. He reacted defensively, but Mazraoui caught him off guard (57th, 64th).
